This is Hades, god and king of the dead and underworld. He and his brothers overthrew their father Cronus as took the cosmos as their own.
Hades is most well-known for kidnapping his niece, Persephone, and taking her as his wife. Cerberus is his canine companion.
Though pop-culture likes to paint Hades as a villain, in true myth, Hades is more passive as he tries to maintain balance and order in the underworld.
