This is Hecate, goddess of the crossroads, magic, witchcraft, sorcery, herbology, ghosts, necromancy, and is the guardian of journeys, including the one to the afterlife. She is often depicted alongside Hermes, guiding Persephone back from the underworld with torches. Because of this journey, she and Persephone seem to have a close relationship.
Hecate is frequently associated with the idea of being "between" so she is often characterized as a liminal goddess, one who presides over thresholds. Hecate is the holder of the keys between the realms and can unlock the gates of death. Because of her close association with death/the underworld, she is also known as a chthonic (underworld) goddess.
