Library is empty

Im running on macOS mojave 10.14.6 , I opened the app perfectly fine, saw my households and such but then I agreed to the settings in the beginning and now nothing is showing up. I don't know if i need to change the setting but if I do I have no clue how to.. please help :(

Hello @MadelineJM,

If it was working before applying the settings, open the Preferences panel and try to reset the values.

 

If you still have trouble, post a screenshot or run the App Reports and post it here.

I am so confused, when I first opened the app it showed all my saved households and such and then a settings bar popped up and i agreed or accepted cause i figured it was just asking the language, and then after that nothing will show up anymore and I dont know how to change the setting or run the app test or anything. It opens but nothing appears. I am on MacOS Mojave.. please help.

Preferences and App Reports should be accessible from the task bar.

I downloaded everything right and put the file in the right location (documents>electronic arts>the sims 4) and when i open everything is empty. It opens the to the library but nothing is there. It doesn't even open the preference page.

How are you trying to open the Preferences page?

⌘+, (Command+Comma) or taskbar>Sims4TrayImporter>Preferences should both work.

 

I see two Sims 4 folders, make sure to select the right language in Preferences since the save folder name is localized.
If you cannot open Preferences at all, run App Reports then post the result.

It worked opening preferences and I changed my language to the correct one but still I see nothing...

Look on the taskbar, Sims4TrayImporter>App Reports.

Everything works but S4TI cannot find your save folder.

 

Go to Documents/Electronic Arts and make sure there is a Sims 4 folder.

It's documents > Electronic arts > The sims 4 and in that there's my Mods and S4TI

Try Dutch in Preferences, this should fix your empty library issue.

Had it set like that! But there has always been this sign, is that maybe the problem and if it is what can I do?
