my households not showing up

when i load up the application none of my saves show up on the side.i usally use this application to delete broken mods but i cant due to my households not showing up.

Make sure you save your sims in your Library, S4TI doesn't work with the Gallery.

But the empty library could also be caused by a misconfigured setting.
The game will use a different location depending on the language set in game and/or if the game is the Legacy Edition.

 

Open the Settings (Preferences on Mac) dialog then Game:
- check if the right game edition is selected
- check the selected language (you may need to disable Auto Detect to change the value)
 

On the bottom of the dialog you should see the save location change as you edit the options.

If that doesn't work, run the App Reports.

• Hello i have a problem, when I’m opening the app on mac nothing shows up, i tried to delete the app and download it again but it didn’t work out. My game is the legacy versuon though

Hello @Dav, try to select the 'Legacy Edition' in the Preferences panel.

Thank you it worked! But now on the bottom of the app it says searching for cc is currently not available, please set up preferences to setup the game but i have no idea what set up to put

Since there is no easy way to detect an app on Mac, S4TI always assume the game is installed in the Applications folder.
But there are two Applications folders, "/Applications" and "/Users/<username>/Applications".

If you have installed the game in a different location you'll need to edit the Game path.

 

The Data path should be located inside the .app folder, default is "The Sims 4.app/Contents/".
If you have the wine version, you'll need to right-click on the .app folder then select 'Show Package Contents' to open the game folder. The path will look like "The Sims 4.app/drive_c/Program Files/The Sims 4/".

 

If you still have issues, run the App Reports and post the result. (look on the taskbar to locate it)

Hello, ive just recently purchased a MacBook and professionally transferred my files from windows hp to MacBook Pro 2020 and my mods are working completely fine in game but my tray files are not appearing in the library ive tried literally everything I even deleted the whole folder and started over any nothing is still appearing, Ive also made sure the advanced box was ticked. but ive just recently Brought a pack of dlcs off eBay to get all the expansion packs game packs and kits for $20 do you guys think that's the problem.. I really need helping haven't been able to play my game because ive been trying to figure out the problem.

This is not an issue with S4TI, right?

 

Make sure the filters are set to show everything, not just some.
Have you both checked 'Include Unowned Content' and 'Include Custom Content'?

 

Try to save something to your library to see if they show up, then look in 'Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Tray' to see if the files is there too.

OHH sims 4 tray importer.. I don't know ive installed it on my computer and my downloads were still not showing up

But nothing is showing up at all in my library as if I haven't downloaded anything

Hi, I've just recently downloaded S4TI and it's not working. It was at first, everything was showing up and now nothing is. I've tried redownloading it multiple times, and I've read everything on the help guide, but it's just working. None of my files from my sims game are showing up into S4TI like it's supposed to and I have people waiting to receive files from me. I really don't understand and I'd appreciate it if I could get a step by step. I also don't know how to insert an image into this, but I have them

Try to remove the part before /Applications/The Sims 4.app.

If that doesn't help, click Tray Importer next to the Apple icon, then select App Reports and post the result.
