Bugreport: Internet Explorer problem

When the Sims 4 Tray Importer program starts the Internet Explorer browser starts to open endlessly. It cannot be closed, it opens and closes endlessly on the screen, only restarting the computer helps.
I disabled Internet Explorer in my Windows 10.
Now when I open the program, he writes what it need "Res", but it still works.

What happens?

What do you mean?

 

The Startup Page is a webview control which use the IE engine, but even though it's disabled it should be fine.

 

If S4TI is still responding try to untick VIEW>Startup Page to disable it on next launch.
or

Start S4TI in safe mode:

- right-click on the icon and select 'Open file location'
- find 's4ti_x64-safemode.bat' (or 's4ti-safemode.bat' if Windows is 32-bit) and double-click it

 

If IE stops to popup then there is a bug.
How did you disable IE?

 

If the problem persists, I strongly suggest you do a virus scan since it's not a normal behavior or check your keyboard for stuck keys.
