What does modified file mean?

When I run a check for conflicts and bad cc, one of the categories is "modified" files. What does that mean and should I worry about those files?

Hello @RobinMollyBlue,

The «Modified» tag means that there is a potential conflict with another file in your Mods folder.

- You may have an updated version of the same CC/mod.

or

- This could simply be:

   - a recolor for an existing CC.

   - a small fix/enhancement for an existing CC/mod.

   - two default replacements (you can only have one)

or

- Two files contain the same resources but have nothing to do with each other. 

 

In the best of cases, it is intentional otherwise it is better to look at them more closely because they could cause bugs in your game.
