Yep the error is from the preferences file, right before it launch. 

Since you have upgraded to a newer version .NET has migrated all your preferences files to match the latest one. Well that never worked as intended.

 

To fix the crash you have to browse to %LOCALAPPDATA%\TeameeVo (C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\TeameeVo\).

Then look for folders starting with S4TI.exe_URL_, there could be more than one.

Delete them all.

Opening each of them will show a folder named 1.0.0.0, inside that one you will find user.config.

They are xml files, you have to open each of them and look for those containing MigrationRequired with the value set to True, then switch them to False.

 

 

This version should pass the MigrationRequired crash: S4TI_beta_inst.zip

@deevo Thank you, that last bit did the trick, latest version 1.6.1 now working on VM, did not see the beta you posted till now. Should I use that one instead?

Nothing has changed except that I surrounded the culprit code in a try/catch. So if it works no need to update. 

 

Still I don't know why it keep generating errors when a property is missing in the config file, maybe 'cause default one is not included.
