And that, I believe would be the keeper, all seems to be working spot on, now to find the full instructions for this version, and see what all the goodies do.

Thank you many, many times over for getting this working, in this oddball way of doing it on a Mac.

A whole OS just to run a tiny program! lol

Hopefully this will help to make it run on Wine or PlayOnMac.

And sadly the last 2 updates to the windows version no longer start using virtualbox, the beta I got from you still works fine though.

@twmuse You said VirtualBox, are you running Mac on virtual machine?

Posté(e) (modifié)

No, I mean, when I run the windows version on windows 10 virtual box.

Main machine, is Mac, has windows 10 on virtual box.

Yes tried normal and as admin, it will not even start to launch.

Since the game is not installed on the Windows side, it may cause your issue.

I tried to install it on a PC which don't have Sims 4 installed and it don't crash! :ermm:

Since the previous one still work, try to clean the cache folder located here : C:\ProgramData\TeameeVo\Sims 4 Tray Importer

You may just rename it so that you can restore it later since it also contains your lookbook if you ever used it.

You can also clean the settings folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\TeameeVo (just past the path in the address bar of File Explorer). This will reset your preferences in S4TI.

This one may contains more than one folder, you can sort them by date then delete the most recent one or delete them all. It's controlled by .Net so not my fault!

The Event Viewer can also give info on why it doesn't start.

Ok! ^_^

@twmuse Both Sims 4 and S4TI are installed on Windows side? :ermm:

Coffee time !!

For settings you can use the command line switch: -reset

But it will not reset the cache, so you must do it manually.

You can also try the -safeMode switch to disable some features.

@deevo S4TI is on the windows side, the sims are shared folders to the windows side. So I "Think" it would be the same as if it was on an external drive as far as the windows side is concerned.

ProgramData is hidden by default. You can just paste the path in the address or unhide it.
Learn how to show hidden files/folders:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/search?query=show hidden files

If you get a blank page, use IE or Chrome, Edge seems to have trouble opening MS pages since the update. :ermm:

Not sure if this says anything

Well there is definitely an error here, but not so much useful. :(

In Event Viewer there should be second error saying .NET Runtime next to the one you have found, this one should contains more details.
