[Application]Sims 4 Tray Importer

I created a sim in TS4 with the broken cc that I found while in CAS. I can't seem to delete it or find the containing folder as everything but info and copy is greyed out. I believe these files are causing two of my mods to not work. 0xEAEEC9375ECEE57E is the file name and the type is CAS/UpperBody/(0x034AEECB). This is one of 19 or so files under the CC tab for this Sim that is red and has a red dot beside it. It's listed under mods - not installed. I don't know how to get rid of these files. Please help

hi my name is Miya and I wanted to share something I learned today so if your sims 4 tray importer is not loading up and this is for windows only sorry for mac users I don't own a mac so I cant help you with that problem but anyways for the window users what you do is you move your sims 4 tray importer to the downloads folder in your files then you right click your mouse and press restore previous versions then you o to general and at the end where it says attributes it will say unblock press that and you shall be able to get access into the importer.

My current sims will not show up even though the files are in the tray folder.

I see that sims i made the other day popping up but sims I made a while back some in the household just not showing up in the importer no more

This issue i think is that there is not file called Sims4TrayImporter in the Applications>Sims4TrayImporter>Contents>MacOS>Sims4TrayImporter, there is not Sims4TrayImporter file inside of the MacOS folder.

Are you asking to know which CCs are used from a particular save?
Something similar is on the way... but I have no release date yet.

The  "Find Conflicts" feature doesn't seem to work. I have the requisite addons installed so that the program can run, and I know for a fact that there were some duplicates (because I added them to test it), and it is not reading them. Could it be because my Documents folder contents are saved on OneDrive? Part of me doesn't think that's the issue because it can read my Tray files. However, again, I cannot discern duplicates or conflicting files anymore.

Hello @MillennialSimmer79,

Did it work with the previous version?

 

OneDrive could be an issue since each files need to be downloaded for reading.
Run a test by placing the files in a Custom Folder (not hosted on OneDrive), if it still fail send me the duplicate files and I'll try to fix it.

Hello, I would like to ask if possible that you take a look at finding conflicts, because when I put it to find it, it does not find anything and I know that my mods folder has conflicting files, my mods folder is the normal one created by the game, I did not change it none, I even tried to put the mods in another folder as a custom folder but it didn't find anything either, anyway I hope I can figure it out! Thanks in advance.

I'm well aware of the problem but I'm unable to reproduce it, even when I remove the Mods folder and use it as custom folder, so I'm not sure where to start.

 

Cloud storage is known to cause problems in S4TI.
Path that are too long can cause random issues too.

 

Check in App Reports, maybe there is some clues.

Hello everyone, I discovered something, in my case it worked and it may help you, remembering that it worked for me, it may vary for others, but anyway, I was having problems with the tray importer when I found the ccs conflicting files in my mods folder, messing around a bit I tried small and even silly things just for the sake of trying and that's when in the window to find conflicts I left the games icon and the others icon unchecked and I left only the modifications icon checked and to my surprise it did right, the tray importer did the reading of the conflicts, well I hope I helped, hugs!!

Make sure the game is properly configured, else S4TI won't be able to locate the game folder.

I am still having the problem of not seeing certain sims. Some newer sims/households show up in the importer some not the same as old sims/households. My languages are the same, my pathways are correct, so i dont get why the importer not working for me anymore and its frustrating me so much. The importer became useless to me
