Yep, but there is two Applications folder on Mac, one is for all users and the other is only for the current user.
Since you already tried the latter, try /Applications/The Sims 4.app without the user part.
The red icon on the left hand side indicate an error.

nope didnt work now its showing just blank. should i delete the program from my other user?

Right-click on The Sims 4.app then select Get Info, you should be able to see/copy the current path of the game.

i cant see the app anywhere where was i supposed to have an app? all i saw was the electronic arts folder with the sims 4 folder in it not the app.

What is inside the folder?

 

Open Origin>Settings then look where it installs your games.

Else open Spotlight and search for "The Sims 4".

i just uninstalled it on the other account on this mac and i found the app. i pasted the path into the tray importer! 

i deleted the game and origin on this account aswell and then i reinstalled it and the app was there. (i started up the game with only the mcc mod and the dont wash dishes in the bathroom mod so theres no cc nor any of my sims/households ive created) should i make a new household to test it out?

That could help to see if you have the wrong save folder.

But I see that Legacy is selected, try to select Base (Metal) instead.

Why am I not permitted to download this file (and others) after I just downloaded one of the sims?>

Maybe the server was in maintenance. Do you still have trouble downloading files? 

If you still have troubles, please post the links or click on the Report button.

I downloaded the tray about an hour ago. I can access the list of cc for a household, but when I right click, I dont have the option of searching for it on Google.

 

I have even, uninstalled and re-installed both Google Chrome and your application, but still nothing works.

 

Any advice for me??

Hello @Izaina,
The Google option only works if there is a file.
If you try with an item that has a name, does the Google option work?

 

If you are looking for a missing mesh look (Google) at the parent, most of the time the page found will also contain info about where to find the mesh.

Hi @deevo I'm having trouble updating the tray importer. Every time I click the update button, it redirects me to the download page. I assumed that I had to delete the old file and install the new one but I'm still getting the same version that I had before. Could you help me please?

Hello @awkwardturtle356,
The installer will serve as an updater if S4TI is already installed, so you just need to launch the installer to update it.
If you have downloaded S4TI before yesterday (02-17-2021) please redownload, I uploaded the wrong version.
