Tray importer for mac!!

Hello there!

I am trying to get rid of some faulty cc and the tray importer downloaded fine but I opened it and now its stuck in a never ending loop on the "config game" window. I've clicked the little dots and rerouting it, making sure it was to the same place as the downloaded game, but when it restarts to "apply changes," it opens back up to the config game window again with the old location. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the tray importer multiple times, but it ends up doing the same thing every single time. Help would be much appreciated!

Yeah, it's a known bug, for unknown reason the settings are not saved. 

 

Here's a workaround:

1. Open Finder, then browse to your Documents folder.
2. Create a folder name "Sims 4 Tray Importer" w/o the quotes.
3. Download Sims4.GameInfos.Settings.zip and extract Sims4.GameInfos.Settings.xml in that folder.
4. Restart S4TI
5. Apply your settings then save the changes.
6. Restart S4TI if needed
7. See if it fix the problem

That will cause S4TI to use the setting file stored in your Documents folder rather than the one stored in the preferences folder.

I don't think that reinstalling it will change anything.

 

Try to manually edit the xml file by entering the same value as in the Config dialog.

Yes there is a bug. I'm trying to figure out what's going on but this may take awhile since I don't have a Mac.

What is the exact message?

 

Have you extracted the files?

If the double-click doesn't work, right-click on the app then select Open.

 

If it doesn't work, make sure you have installed Mono.

I've downloaded and installed everything correctly and the app won't open. I've tried the terminal command and it keeps telling me that the command isn't found. Am I doing something wrong?

Which version of Mono have you installed?

Open Terminal, then type mono --version

 

Try this if the command works:
