ok so when i click open mods folder it crashes completely

Does it crash when you double-click on a file? 

 

Run the Debug tool from the application menu to find any errors.

You can also run the Config Paths to make sure that everything is set properly.

In the InstallDir field, try to remove any characters after ".../The Sims 4.app".

 

If that don't fix the problem try to move the games to your Applications folder.

I have removed all characters after /The Sims 4.app", I save it, it restarts with the previous information and the process repeats.

Sims 4 is in my applications folder.

I still don't know why the settings are not saved on Mac.

 

This dialog box appears 'cause it can't find the game.

This one should fix InstallDir and display a message if there is a error while saving the changes.

 

If it still fails:

Extract the content of Sims4.GameInfos.Settings.zip to Documents/Sims 4 Tray Importer/ and restart Tray Importer.

I don't have a "Documents/Sims 4 Tray Importer/"

By default it doesn't exist, so just create one if it doesn't exist already.

I created the folder, extracted that zip into the folder, restarted tray importer and still having the same problem.

So the problem is on loading. 

 

I'll try to remove some internal checks but this could render the app unstable.

Still not working, not sure why. I t was working when I initially downloaded it, but as soon as I tried to view the mods that were on a sim it crashed and never was the same.
