Maybe it was to fix the memory usage on startup?
But now that it works, I'll won't touch it.

Odd on Catalina they are still on the left side but are blank now, do not remember if they had an icon before or not, when you click on them arrows do show briefly. And they do work.

The icons are there, if you look closer you should see the arrows.
The problem is the current toolkit doesn't allow to know which theme is selected.

Anyway I'm about to ditch the old toolkit in favor to a more modern one that run on .Net Core, which means better performance and no more Mono dependency!

But then will macs need to install some kind of .Net Core?

.Net Core is cross platform, so it will be bundled in the app.
The down side is that it won't support El Captain and older MacOS versions, but they will be able to download the legacy version.

That would make sense, anyone on El Capitan or older would most likely be running the legacy sims game.

 

I live in the Multi os world, Mojave for old 32bit needs, Catalina for pretty much everything, and Big Sur just to wait and see for the point it is cleaned up.

Hi, I am having an issue with Tray Importer similar to another user, the photos will not load. I've attempted to troubleshoot on my own, but am coming up blank. My Mac is up-to-date and running Big Sur at the moment. I downloaded the first version of S4TI and the version from your "Here's the fix" reply and I am having the same issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Merci!

This is a bug with Big Sur and there is no workaround for now.

Bonjour, je rencontre un fros problème avec l'application car même si elle s'ouvre, aucune image n'apparait .. pouvez vous m'aider ? J'ai essayé de réparer mon jeu et de vider le cache mais ça n'a rien changé .

 

Bon j'arrive pas mettre ma capture d'écran mais en gros aucune image apparait seulement des cadre rouge et noir ..

Bonjour @GINGERKARINE, c'est un problème causé par Catalina et Big Sur.

 

Il existe un correctif pour Catalina, mais il n'a pas d'effet sur Big Sur.
Le correctif se trouve ici :  S4TI MAC - 2020-11-20
Pour Big Sur tu peux essayer cette version :  None of the thumbnails are appearing

Hi, i am also using Big Sur MacOS after previously having a windows PC. I cannot get my mac to open the app (I moved it to applications, went to the 'get info' tab and checked the permissions', I went to settings and tried to see if I needed to allow it from the security and privacy tab, nothing worked. I also installed mono but it has had no effect. I can see from reading the thread that people are having other issues with Big Sur not showing the thumbnails of their gallery but I am not even able to open the application! Can you please help?
