Hello,

I'm trying to delete the S4 Tray Importer from my Mac. According to the installation instructions, I'm supposed to download Mono to make it work. I didn't download the Visual Studio. Now that I have no use for it, I want to delete Mono and the Tray Importer. I couldn't find Mono in my Applications folder, so I googled it and apparently I'm supposed to run a script in the terminal. I copied and pasted, but it didn't work for me for some reason. I really want to delete it. Any thoughts? 😰

Hello @cheese,
If got trouble opening S4TI, look here FAQ - Troubleshooting (MacOS) - Aide - LuniverSims and here [Application]Sims 4 Tray Importer for Mac - Page 6 - Aide - LuniverSims

Uninstalling Mono on macOS

Run this script in a terminal:

sudo rm -rf /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework
sudo pkgutil --forget com.xamarin.mono-MDK.pkg
sudo rm /etc/paths.d/mono-commands

Source: macOS | Mono (mono-project.com)

You can also try Omni Remover.

@asianielle I have run into this also on the latest version. But if you click on the individual lots/households, the pictures will load, and it seems like the others are trying to load in the background, but taking far longer than needed. The version before this loaded all pictures immediately.

I am still running Catalina for now, so it is not just a Big Sur thing.

But may also be two different issues, since mine does not show any red around this missing pictures.

Maybe S4TI is not compatible with BigSure? 🤔

The red squares indicate that there was a problem loading the images.

Do all items in your library have a red square?

Try to update Mono.

And not from the previous versions?

Yup, images are loaded in background, but you should see a progress icon while images are loading.

Not from the last version I had...remember I missed one or 2, last used was 1.0.9.39718. That one all pictures were loaded right at start up, no waiting.

No, there is no progress icon or anything. And when I say a long time... I mean a really long time, I usually can finish a project before all are loaded....true I have hundreds, but never had that in the old version.

But you lost the fast scrolling

Umm I can scroll through my whole library as fast as I can scroll, all pictures loaded...

I see them on the right hand side of the window

Odd on Catalina they are still on the left side but are blank now, do not remember if they had an icon before or not, when you click on them arrows do show briefly. And they do work.
