Before I had redownloaded from this link

Yeah, the new version need more testing before I make it the official download.  But it's good to know that it works on Mojave. 👍

But I downloaded from the one you sent in the thread. But it's still not showing the cc.

I really don't know what is going on.

Open Preferences then export your config (look in the lower left corner of the dialog) and add to your message.

You can also try this:
Create a folder named The Sims 4.app in your Applications folder.
Then add:
/Contents
- /Data

  - /Client

    (Create these files)

    - ClientDeltaBuild0.package
    - ClientDeltaBuild1.package

    - ClientDeltaBuild2.package
    - ClientDeltaBuild3.package
    - ClientDeltaBuild4.package
    - ClientDeltaBuild5.package
    - ClientDeltaBuild6.package
    - ClientDeltaBuild7.package
    - ClientDeltaBuild8.package
    - ClientFullBuild0.package
    - ClientFullBuild1.package

    - ClientFullBuild2.package
    - ClientFullBuild3.package
    - ClientFullBuild4.package
    - ClientFullBuild5.package
    - ClientFullBuild6.package
    - ClientFullBuild7.package
    - ClientFullBuild8.package

    - Strings_ENG_US.package
- /Game

  - /Bin

    (Create these files)

    - TS4_x64.exe

    - TS4.exe

You may get a bunch of errors, but it should detect the game.

Edit: Oops! I made some typos in the files to create in the /Data/Client folder. Fixed now!

App (DataPath)   :  /Applications/The Sims 4 Game/The Sims 4.app/Contents/Program Files/The Sims 4
DataPathExists   :  False

The issue is here, the path doesn't exist. There could be a typo in the path or S4TI is not allowed to read in that location.

I would try to reinsert every space (' ') just to make sure.

I tried with the default and it made the message go away but no changes.

I didn't have TS4.exe to copy from my game folder but this is how I have it set up. I have my TrayImporterSettings.ini attached.

Didn't change. Why wouldn't it be able to read there?

@puppyfishy Is Metal selected in Preferences?

Just make a copy of TS4_x64.exe and rename it TS4.exe.

Edit: I didn't find any issues in the .ini file.

Because of a security setting on your Mac.

Metal is selected. If I select Legacy my library doesn't show up at all in the sidebar.

Updated the folder - restarted S4TI under both metal and legacy still no difference.

Better stick with Metal then. 😏

So it seems to work with the fake .app folder, but all Mods are reported missing. Do you have the same problem with every content in your library?

If you click on the Open Mods folder in the CC tab, is the folder empty?

Yeah it's the same for the other library saves. Open Mods Folder takes me to my Mods folder for my actual game so idk why its not working.

Is your Mods folder saved in the cloud?

It could be the issue if it's the case.

If the game is also stored in the cloud, that could explain why S4TI is unable to find the inner folders.

Edit#1: Try to launch the game so that it downloads some files, then open S4TI to see if something change.

Edit#2: If storing your files in the cloud was the issue and your disk is not running out of space, make sure you always have a local copy of the files.
This way your game should run faster and you still have a copy of the files stored in the cloud.

Edit#3: And don't forget to delete the fake game folder if it's no longer needed, else it will just sit there wasting space.

Did all the above - still isn't working. I ran it with metal and default with the fake Sims 4.

My Sims 4 game is off the cloud and solely on my drive now. Still not sure what went wrong. This has only happened ever since the High School pack came out.

I think the issue is how they bundled the app or we missed something.

Since you are not on Catalina++, clicking on the Find location button right bellow the Data fields should not be an issue.

Else there is at least 3 basic setups that I'm aware (only because of Google), but it's hard to tell w/o seeing the file tree:

/Applications/The Sims 4 Game/The Sims 4.app/drive_c/Program Files/The Sims 4
/Applications/The Sims 4 Game/The Sims 4.app/Contents/drive_c/Program Files/The Sims 4
/Applications/The Sims 4 Game/The Sims 4.app/Contents/Resources/drive_c/Program Files/The Sims 4

You can always try to give S4TI the full access to your drive. You can remove it later if it doesn't help.
Open Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access and drag S4TI in the list.

Posté(e)

Yeah I'm not sure what else could be done right now. I've changed my security settings, etc. I might wait til the next available update from NMac to test S4TI again. Thank you helping me today I'll post on here if I'm able to find a solution.

In your last attempt 'Content' missed a 's' at the end,
And maybe insert 'Resources' between 'Contents' and 'drive_c'.  🤔

I would also try running Tools > Find Conflicts, if it works that would mean that the problem could be on my side.

Didn't work with /Applications/The Sims 4 Game/The Sims 4.app/Contents/Resources/drive_c/Program Files/The Sims 4

Find conflicts runs blank

What is the path of 'drive_c' in the app bundle?

The tool doesn't work when the game is not detected. 😕
But I should at least make it work when Game is not selected.
