The installer will guide you through the installation of the app, and because it requires the admin right to run it will also preserve the executable bit so that you won't need to use the chmod in the terminal to restore it.

Another drawback beside requiring the admin right is that you may need to unlock the installer in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

 

So if you are having trouble with the chmod command, the installer package might be a better approach.

Hi @deevo Just so you know the "About" on this newest version still shows version 1.0.2.0 not the 1.22.5.0 on the downloads page.

 

 

No big deal, all is working great, just thought you may want to change it on the next update.

Oops! Yep, 1.0.2.0 is the internal version while 1.22.5.0 is the file version.

The old Mac port used to automatically increase the internal version, but now it just matches the Windows version model (1.YEAR.MONTH.BUGFIXNUMBEROFTHEMONTH) and 1.0.2.0 stays unchanged.
Will be fixed in the next version.

The image is clearly visible and everything is fixed. However, I still cannot change the thumbnail.
The edit - replace image button exists but is not pressed because it is opaquely disabled.
Does it not support image change? Or is there any other way to activate it?

I'll need to check my notes, but I think I need to update the picture processor because it's no longer compatible.
So the answer is - Image change will not be available for a while.

Hey! My tray importer is downloaded, Pictures are showing, but I can't seem to navigate this version as easily as my older version of tray importer. It used to tell me the exact name of missing mods, with the picture of what it should look like come up, but now it just says: CAS/Necklace, and I'm like how can I find it online to fix it or to locate and download the mods anymore? Maybe this is just me missing something so if someone could help I'd be grateful!!!!!! x

Hello @ferntinks,

I think you are confusing "missing dependencies" with "missing CC".

While for the former, it's true you can still get the needed info to fix them, that's because the base CC is present in your Mods folder.
For the latter, it's another story, if the CC goes missing there is no more info for S4TI to read. But if the thumbnail is still cached, you can see what it looked like until the cache is cleaned.

 

The only was to fix the issue is to contact the original creator to get the list of CCs used to create it.

Bonjour @jhxva, vérifie bien les paramètres dans Préférences.

 

La langue doit correspondre à celle du jeu puisqu'elle sert à déterminer le nom du dossier Les Sims 4 dans Documents.

L'édition Métal ou Classique influence aussi le nom du dossier Les Sims 4 dans Documents.
