Greetings - What does "Select Background Image" do?

Thanks you for the Sims 4 Tray Importer.  It is a very useful program.

 

I have a question, What does "Select Background Image" do?  The reason for my question is because after I select the background image for my CAS photo (which appears as a CAS background within the S4TI program), and then select save the image, there is no background when I view the image in my photo program.  If there is a way to apply and save a background to the CAS image(s) within the S4TI program, please advise how it is done.  Looking forward to your response.

The only purpose of Select Background Image is to customize what is being displayed behind the content thumbnails, just like the game does.

The background is not applied to the thumbnail, so it wont be exported when saving the thumbnail.

It all depends on what you want to achieve:

• If you want the custom background to be displayed in the game, use Replace Images.
• If you want the custom background to be displayed in your blog, the only way is to take a screenshot of the app.
