Won't google items

Everything on my STI works fine except the "google this" button which is what I really need to fix my CCs. When I press it, nothing happens. Help

@ldionne Items must be in your Mods folder for the "Google this" option to be available. If items are highlighted in red, it will not work.

All of my items are in the Mod folder. It still won't work.  iCloud Drive⁩ ▸ ⁨Documents⁩ ▸ ⁨Electronic Arts⁩ ▸ ⁨The Sims 4⁩ ▸ ⁨Mods⁩

Also all of my items have blue dots. None are highlighted red.

@ldionne Try to select only one mod from the list. Does it works?

If that doesn't work, select Copy>Name, then paste it in Google search bar.

The "Google this" option isn't grayed out and clicking on it just do nothing?

I will try to ask around since I can't have access to a Mac right now.

Nope. And if I hover over it, it even turns blue as if I can select and perform the action like I can do to the others.

This could be a bug or your Mac is not allowing S4TI to open the url?

Basically, all this option does is prepend "sims4" before the selected item then it open google.com in your browser.

Can confirm that the “Google This” menu item does nothing on a Mac (running Catalina, TrayImporter version 10.10.38578)

I don't know what caused it to stop working, but it should be fixed soon!

I'm pretty sure I'm using the most up to date version (Nov. 20) of S4TI and it's still not letting me use the "Google this" option; it's greyed out. When I load the game up, my sims look fine in CAS, but they have the question marks all over them when I go into live mode. I've tried repairing my game 3 separate times. This started happening after I downloaded Snowy Escape today (Dec. 26). I'm not sure if it's the game itself or my CC. But on S4TI it says it's my CC that is broken

Hello @nebs,

The "Google this" option wont work if the file is not installed. But you can post the id and with some luck someone will find it in their Mods folder.

Try to remove your Mods to see if it's one of your mods that cause the problem.

Hello everyone, I am having some troubles finding the missing mods/cc. Every time i right click it doesn't give me the option to show in folder nor find on Google. How can I remove these or find these so my game doesn't mess up?
