[Guide] Sims 4 Tray Importer for macOS Sierra

So I had to do a factory reset on my mac due to other issues I was having. I am running catalina now and can't seem to get the app to install again. I tried the same steps as before as well as all the steps listed. Its still saying that sims 4 tray importer cannot be opened.  has anyone else had the same issues that can help?

Hi

So I recently got the MacBook Air M3 that has Mac OS Sonoma (14.5). I tried downloading Sims 4 Tray Importer and I've done all the steps necessary but whenever i launch the app, i keep getting this window pop up. If I press cancel, exit the app and launch it again, the same window pops up. I don't know if I have to change the path location and data but I'd appreciate some help. 

Also I have no cc downloaded apart from the "better exceptions" mod.

hiii i hope im not too late, i was having this issue too and the problem is that for mac now the app is under the ea games folder, and the default is outdated, so copy and paste "/Applications/EA Games/The Sims 4.app" into the game path instead ♡
