CC appears in red and does not show name or location

I have just downloaded the tray importer but all of my CC is showing up in red and I cannot see the location or name of the CC files assigned to each of my sims. I believe this is occurring because my sims folder is not assigned to the usual, default location and it is installed on my E drive, but I am not sure how to redirect my install folder in this program. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is something wrong with the 'Install Dir', the folder doesn't exists.

 

If you have moved the game, try a repair from Origin.

If that don't fix the problem, open Regedit and go to 'HKLM\SOFTWARE\Maxis\The Sims 4\' then change the value of 'Install Dir' to the current path of the game.

Thank you for the response. I switched the 'Install Dir' value to my current path of the game, but this did not work and my CC is still showing up red with no names. I also switched the GDF Binary because I noticed the pathway for that was also incorrect. This is what I typed in for the Install Di: (not sure if the formatting is incorrect) 

E:\Program Files (x86)\Sims 4\The Sims 4

 

Also, I am not sure if it matters, but I couldn't find  HKLM\SOFTWARE\Maxis\The Sims 4\  in the Regedit program, I could only find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Maxis\The Sims 4\

HKLM is the shortname for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. :/

 

Since you have a 64bit OS, do the same for the key 'HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Maxis\The Sims 4'.

If it still fails, check that the file TS4.exe exists in the game folder. (eg: [GamePath]\Game\Bin\TS4.exe)

Hey, this is a really late reply and no one might see this but I have a similar problem where all my CC comes up in red circles and says that searching for CC is currently not available and to open preferences to set up the game, I have no idea what to do about this and i can't find any information on this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
