Hello @_angie_, open the Preferences panel and change the game path.

Check that the proper game language is selected else nothing will be shown in the list.

If you have the Legacy Edition make sure to check that option.

And make sure your creations are saved in the Library, S4TI doesn't work with the Gallery.

If you're still having problems, run the App Reports.

Hi! I'm also having the issue of CC not showing up. I've checked the paths and it looks right to me, but I could have it wrong. I keep all my CC on an external drive. Would that matter? Thank you!

Here's my log:

Hello @sarhabi,

Everything looks good 🤔

Do you have the same issue with all items in the library or just some of them?

There is an unofficial update here S4TI - 1.10.8.2 - Mise à jour (5 août) - Win - Annonces - LuniverSims

Yeah, it's the same for everything. I tried it with the unofficial update and I'm still having the same issue. It searches for a long time, but then it doesn't list anything. It just seems to be the CC list. Other functions seem normal. My lots and sims show up fine, and I can see tray files. Is there something else on my end I could try? My mods folder is pretty huge. Would that matter at all? Thanks!

Try to export with CC, this one don't use a timer, so you should be able to see them.

Please help, I've been having this same issue for months. Im not good with technology so I don't understand a lot of the above instructions (I do not see a 'File' option when I open the app). Lots and some households will show but none with my current changes or CC. When I tried to download the updated Tray Importer above, my computer cannot open it. Here is my App Report:

Hello @SlowWhineSimmer,

Sorry, the update above is for Windows only. The Mac version is here but has not been updated in a while.

Menu is on task on Mac, that's where you found the App Reports. 😉

Everything seems fine in the log. 🤔

How much CC do you have?

Make sure you save them in your library, S4TI doesn't work with the gallery.

Just as in my previous post above, try the Export option then open the CC Files tab.

If your CCs show up but still fail on the main screen, that means the same bug apply to the Mac version. 😕

Additionally, you can observe the time it takes before the spinning wheel cursor stops.

If it's ~5min this is definitely the same bug as above.

Hi,

You are one of those rare cases where S4TI fails to find the game.

Please check the 'HELP>Game Info Debugging' to find out where S4TI fails and send me the result.

You may also try this solution :

  • Edit the settings file:
    • Go to the folder where S4TI was installed. (right-click on the app shortcut and select Open file location)
    • Find the file Sims4.GameInfos.Settings.xml and open it.
        Révéler le contenu masqué

      If the file does not exist, create a file with the name Sims4.GameInfos.Settings.xml and paste the following content :

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
      <Sims4.GameInfos.Settings>
        <GameInstallation>
          <Name>The Sims 4</Name>
          <Locale>[Auto]</Locale>
          <DisplayName>The Sims™ 4</DisplayName>
          <InstallDir>%ProgramFiles%\Origin Games\The Sims 4\</InstallDir>
          <Version>1.0.0.0</Version>
          <ExePath>[InstallDir]Game\Bin\TS4.exe</ExePath>
        </GameInstallation>
      </Sims4.GameInfos.Settings>
    • Edit the value of InstallDir to the current path where the game is installed.
    • Edit the value of Locale to the language used in game or leave it to [Auto] to let S4TI detect the language based on your system settings and the available resources.
    • Save the changes.
  • Allow S4TI to use the XML:
    • Right-click on the S4TI shortcut and select Properties.
    • Select the Shortcut tab if not selected (usually the 2nd tab from the left).
    • Edit the value of Target field (usually the 1st editable one) and append ' -userPath -noGameCheck' without the quotes.
      eg: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sims 4 Tray Importer\Sims4TrayImporter.exe" -userPath -noGameCheck
      -noGameCheck is optional, but may help if the app fails to find the game by using the custom path. This will also display a message at each launch.
    • Click Apply or OK to save the change.

Please I've tried everything and still doesn't work
