CC not showing up in Sims 4 Tray Importer

@Bekah you must fix the game location in the Preferences panel.

Also check Sims4TrayImporter>App reports (on the taskbar) and post the result here.

I have been having a problem where everything works except it doesn't load the cc list at all. It connects to the families fine though. I thought it was because I may have had an older version (that wouldn't let me update it), but I downloaded the newest version and it does the same thing. Also it keeps wanting to download files off of my computer for some reason every time it tries to load the cc. I am wanting to get rid of bad and old cc. Please help! Here is a screenshot:

If Auto Detect is enabled and Game Folder is highlighted in red uncheck it, then click on Find.

Which files ?

Just some cc files. That may or may not be included in the cc of that family. 

Auto detect is checked, but its not red and it looks like the correct folder.

Do you mean it hangs while recovering your CC?

If you have a lot of CC, it will take a while, but will always abort if it takes more than 5 min.

How long does it take for the progress bar to disappear?

Looks like it takes longer than 5 minutes.

@tansi1248 Your Save folder is stored on OneDrive!

Unless you have limited space on your disk and you want to save up space, you should disable the cloud storage for your save folder or at least make sure that it always available for offline viewing.

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts

Right-click on The Sims 4 and select Always keep on this device.

This should make/keep a local copy of your save folder.

I will do that! My computer automatically syncs with OneDrive a lot, and its causes issues.

Hi, I am having a problem with my personal in-game cc not loading, but some public cc that says "latest downloads" loads. Can you please help me out?

Hello @loyalite,

Latest Downloads is the startup page.

 

To see your CC you must select an item from the library, then a description of the selected item will appear on the right hand side.
There will be three tabs, General, Files and CC, select the CC tab to view all the CC used for the selected item.

 

If you just want to browse your CC, you better use Sims 4 Studio.

Open Origin and try to Repair the game to fix the broken registry path.

or
Uncheck Auto Detect and change the path in the Game Folder field.

Hi!

I have a problem because S4T suggests that my game is installed in the diffrent folder and program shows it as a bug.
I tried to open Sims4.GameInfos.Settings.xml but I cannot apply any changes because " I have no authority".
Any idea ? :(

Sims4.GameInfos.Settings.xml is deprecated.

 

Open Settings (Preferences on Mac) and change the path there.
