Sims 4 Tray Importer Can't Locate CC

I have downloaded the Tray Importer again. Only this time I can't use the find on google feature when right clicking on the red cc. Any help?

Content in red means that no file was found and the Google option doesn't work when the file is missing.
You may have to contact the original creator to find what was the missing file.

It was my sims that I created before my ssd was misplaced. I am trying to find the cc. do you know of a way for me to find the files needed?

@Marrajahk If you still have the CCs, you just need to move them back in the Mods folder or link them using the Custom Folders in the Settings dialog.

Custom Folders are typically used to help find the original files based on the merged content.

 

Unfortunately, if you lost them, there is no easy way to recover them because the game only stores the id.
But you can ask around if someone have that CC id in their Mods folder using the built-in TOOLS>Find Package or any tool that allows to search for CC.

 

Tip:
Opening the Details Mode in the CC tab allows to edit the CC info (Creator, Description, Url, etc).
This way, as long you have the database, even if you don't have the CCs you can keep track of what they are and where they come from.
You can even share this list instead of the CC files to reduce the download size, but users will have to download all files themselves.
