Поиск конфликтов длится 90 секунд и не находит никаких конфликтов, хотя я знаю, что их более 200 и есть дублированный контент.  Функция экспорта работает. Но есть отличие от старой версии - контент по умолчанию не отмечается для экспорта, приходится делать это самостоятельно.

I was expecting this error after some changes on how languages are handled, but so far everything passed without throwing an error.
So you are the first to post about it.

I will fix the error in the Settings dialog, it should not throw there.

Update: This bug is related to Windows 7/8, newer versions won't throw anymore.

Doesn't it only happen for overrides or does the same behavior affect regular contents too?
By default, overrides (default content replacements) are not checked, that's because some users prefer not to share them.

I can add an option which once checked will always auto-check overrides.

После запуска бета-версии я обнаружил, что в старой версии Sims 4 Tray Importer 1.23.3.0 поиск конфликтов тоже перестал работать. Я думал, функция поиска конфликтов у меня никогда не заработает. Дело в том, что после установки Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime - 4.8.1 (x64) я подумал, что аналогичная 4.72 более не нужна и удалил ее. А потом, когда обнаружил что поиск конфликтов не работает, решил, что это из-за версии 4.8.1 x64, что она слишком новая для Windows 7 и тоже удалил ее. Я решил вернуться к версии  4.7.2. Но все оказалось не так просто. Русскоязычная версия отказалась ставиться, я поставил англоязычную. Эта версия поставилась, но в списке установленных программ ее нет. Тогда решил обратно поставить 4.8. теперь в списке установленных программ имеется Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 (RUS). 

Старую версию не стал тестировать, но думаю, что она теперь будет работать со снятой галочкой Игра.

Не отмечается ВЕСЬ КОНТЕНТ и МОДЫ ТОЖЕ. Галочек нет нигде и ни на чем. Я думаю, удобно будет отмечать только контент (одежда, аксессуары и прочее), а моды НЕ НАДО отмечать. Раньше мне постоянно приходилось снимать галочки с модов вручную, мне нужна только одежда и прочее. Мне даже приходила в голову мысль попросить вас изменить программу так, чтобы моды не отмечались галочками, меня останавливала проблема с регистрацией и я все откладывал проблему с регистрацией до последнего момента.

 

ALL CONTENT and MODES are unchecked. There are no checkmarks anywhere or on anything. I think it would be convenient to check only the content (clothes, accessories, etc), and mods SHOULD NOT be checked. I used to have to uncheck mods manually all the time, I only want clothes and stuff. Hmm, why not "Sims 4 Share & Fix Utilities"?!
Long names are harder to remember, and S4TI is fine?!  Unless I also want to open a DC comic book store!
Splitting the tools in separate apps is also an option.

At least I could add a mention in the download page title. Because it's true that there is almost no info about it, apart from this forum.


How good is you English?  The current Russian translation is needing a little update.
I'm now forced to add any untranslated text if I don't want an empty string to be displayed when the app is running.
Everything was working well until I decided to add some missing string translations using the new Res Manager that just broke every translations with empty text everywhere.

The error with settings was eliminated. The conflict search worked fine without the Game checkbox.

I tested the S4TI_unified_inst_250323 program.

Everything works fine, including with the Game checkbox.

 

But I must say that my Kaspersky antivirus found a virus in the program installer.

But I'm guessing that's a misguided antivirus reaction.

Я протестировал программу S4TI_unified_inst_250319.

Ошибка с настройками была устранена. Поиск конфликтов работал нормально без галочки Game .

С галочкой Game я не проверял.

Я протестировал программу S4TI_unified_inst_250323.

Все работает отлично, в том числе с галочкой Game .

 

Но должен сказать, что мой антивирус Kaspersky нашел вирус в исталяторе программы. 

Но я полагаю, это ошибочная реакция антивирусника.

Просто я хотел сказать, что использование такой важной функции как поиск конфликтов, должен как-то присутствовать в названии программы. На сегодняшний день полностью функциональный поиск конфликтов имеется только в вашей программе.

@Petr Yeah, I figured it out! I always assumed that the quoted text automatically update if the quoted post is updated, but that's not the case.

 

DeepL doesn't seem to do better than Google translator.
But no harm done, I always assume translator tools make mistakes!
 

I'm just too busy to think how to better promote the app.
The download page needs an update for a long time, so I will start there as soon I have some time.

 

Changing the name is another story, but it's true that the original Tray Importer no longer just import from the gallery for viewing.

Yep, false positive!
It turns out there is a whole story with a specific version (6.4.1) of Inno Setup (the tool used to build the installer), but not a security one, so it may take some time for AV databases to adjust.
 

 

If you are stuck with an old PC, you can force Win10 to install on it, but some drivers may not work.
Sometime it's easier to just buy an old PC for some few bucks and install the performant parts from your old PC.
But that is another story!
