Persephone

This is Persephone, a vegetation goddess and Queen of the Underworld. Her common name as a vegetation goddess is "Kore" - meaning maiden. Persephone is often associated with the season of spring. It is said that she brings forth new life upon her return to the upper world after living in the Underworld.

 

Her myth is well-known, so I will not type it out.

 

Abode: The Underworld (6 months) & Olympus (6 months)

Parents: Zeus & Demeter

Spouse: Hades

Children: Melinoë (possibly), Plutus (possibly), and Zagreus (possibly)
