Hi @laurelrun,

This can happen from time to time, some part of the code make your AV to think that it contains malicious codes. Better safe than not!

But as long you download it from our site it's a false positive.

Is your antivirus blocking you from installing it? 

 

If so, you may need to whitelist S4TI or temporarily disable your AV while installing S4TI, just don't forget to reenable your AV once done.

Hi, I was trying to download TSTI but when I downloaded it something called WinZip Registry Optimizer. I don't know what it is and I did not download it. What is it and why is it replacing TSTI? Please help.

Did you download S4TI from our site?

 

"WinZip Registry Optimizer" is not part of S4TI, it rather come bundled with another program and is considered "unwanted"!

You can uninstall it safely, but I recommend you do a system clean up using Malwarebytes or your "prefered malware remover" to get rid of it since most of the time it means that more than one unwanted program has been installed.

 

You can also track down with which program it was bundled and if other unwanted programs was installed by comparing the "Install date" in Settings>Apps>Apps & Features (or Control Panel>Programs>Add/Remove Programs).
