Mytre Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 I am trying to install this for my cousin, she has a m1 macbook. After installing this , the tray importer shows blank, no mods, no content nothing even though she has a buncch of things installed. I thought it was because the content folder (not the game path folder as that is correct) was pointing to a folder inside the game install instead of the Documents > electronic arts> sims 4 folder. I pointed it to the correct folder but a red icon showed up and it would not work. Downloaded latest version from march this year. What could the issue be? its sims 4 from origin with a lot of DLC and she has a lot of mods and content on the sims 4 under documents >electronic arts >sims 4 path. No icloud configured for documents. Quote
Team deevo Posted December 30, 2025 Author Team Posted December 30, 2025 @Mytre The Game Path and Data Path are both for the game location. Selecting a Game Path should automatically set the Data Path to the corresponding folder, but for some unofficial versions you may have to manually select the correct path for Data Path which is typically located in a subfolder of the App (Game Path). The Saves location is automatically determined by the game's language, so « Documents » should never appears in Game Path and Data Path. *App Reports can help to troubleshoot paths or if you've selected the right language. S4TI manages the Library part (Tray folder) and can show which CCs or Mods are linked to your Sims/Lots/Rooms. To view the content worn by a sim, you must first save it in your Library then you will be able to access it through S4TI. (The same apply to Lot and Room) - Select the sim and the content will be show in the CCs tab on the right. Tools>Find Conflicts will work since it works with the Mods folder. Quote
peakvincent Posted January 2 Posted January 2 S4TI gets an error pop-up and forces a quit when I attempt to look at a saved households. I can load into saved lots. The error text is: "Property accessor 'DisplayValue' on object 'Sims4.TrayImporterApp.Adapters.TrayItemHHinfoView' threw the following exception:'Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.'" Quote
Team deevo Posted January 3 Author Team Posted January 3 @peakvincent You'll need the march update, see the note on top of the page. Quote
susukong Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Hello, I installed the importer properly and my sim/house/etc are appearing well. But when I click the import button and select an archive(zip) file of other user's sim, nothing happens and just shows blank like the image below. Please let me know how to fix it! Thank you Quote
Team deevo Posted January 17 Author Team Posted January 17 @susukong Could be that they're already installed, the file formats may not be supported or the files may not contain any household/lot/room. Make sure the zip archives contain at least a .householdbinary/.blueprint/.room file. Quote
